Privacy Policy

Video Intelligence is designed so you can inspect and extract frames from source videos on your own device. This policy explains what happens to the information you choose to save or share.
What stays on your device
Source video files are opened and processed in your browser to extract frames; the original video file is not uploaded to or stored by Video Intelligence. You can also attach a local video to the playback tool without uploading the source file. If you choose in-browser transcription, audio is processed locally. Browser and codec support varies, so some formats may require conversion before extraction.
What is saved
When you confirm a batch, extracted frame images and associated information are uploaded to your workspace. This may include project and file names, timestamps, your notes and keywords, descriptions, tags, detected text, transcript segments, storyboards, export records, sharing settings, and usage information. Account details such as your email and authentication information are used to provide access and manage your workspace. We do not need or keep the original video file to provide these features.
AI and optional cloud transcription
Saved frames are sent to configured AI services for visual analysis, and text you submit for AI search or storyboarding may be sent to those services. Their processing is subject to their own practices. Cloud transcription is off by default. If you select it, audio segments go directly from your browser to the transcription provider you configure, using your own credentials. That provider's terms and privacy practices apply. The provider key is kept in your browser storage, not saved in the Video Intelligence workspace; on a shared device, clear browser data when finished.
Access and sharing
Saved frames are held in private storage and accessed through workspace permissions and temporary image links. Workspace members with access can view the data their role permits. If you create an unlisted client review link, anyone with that link—and the password, if you set one—can view the shared gallery or storyboard until the link expires or you revoke it. Choose recipients carefully; copies downloaded or captured by recipients cannot be recalled. We use service providers to host, authenticate, store, and process the information needed to operate Video Intelligence.
Retention and your choices
On the free plan, saved frames are scheduled for removal 30 days after upload. Paid-plan frames do not have automatic 30-day expiry and remain until deleted by an authorized user or during account closure. You can delete individual items or projects, delete workspace data, and close your account in Settings. Exports you download are stored on your device and are not removed by deleting workspace data. Operational records may be retained where necessary to keep the service secure or meet applicable obligations.
